Morton Feldman Memorial composition competition for piano solo works 2019

Composers all around the world are invited to submit their original works for piano solo of any style, traditional notation, improvisation scores or graphic scores to enter the Morton Feldman Memorial composition competition for piano solo works 2019. There is no age restriction for eligibility to entry for the competition.

The work should be from 1 minute minimum to 10 minutes maximum duration. The jury will select three pieces for 1., 2. and 3. prizes from the entries for performance in a concert in Frankfurt am Main in August 2019 and a digital recording of the selected composers' pieces by concert pianist Patrick Ananta Sutardjo based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, who specializes in contemporary musical repertoire, to be sent to the selected winning composers as Audio CD. The winners of the competition will receive an officially signed certificate stating the respective prize and successful participation in the Morton Feldman Memorial composition competition for piano solo works 2019.

The selected winning composers of the Morton Feldman Memorial composition competition for piano solo works 2019
will be notified via eMail in August before the concert.

The entry fee of the composition competition is 15 Euros.

The handwritten or computer produced scores should be sent digitally in pdf format to: patrick.sutardjo@web.de
There needs to be a statement of the composer that he agrees with the unconditional performance/s of his piece in concerts by Patrick Sutardjo.

Composers can send one or more pieces, already performed or new original works. If more than one piece is entered for consideration the entry fee applies for each piece individually.
