Professional Development Workshops in NYC

Join the composers from ACO's Underwood New Music Readings for a day of workshops Friday, May 24, 2019, exploring the business and realities of being a professional composer. These invaluable talks, led by leaders in the industry, present topics ranging from copyright and commission agreements to music preparation, from how organizations make programming decisions to how music publishing functions.

The workshops are a practical guide for any composer wishing to gain a better understanding of these critical aspects to success as a composer today. Previously only available to participants in the Readings, ACO has made a limited number of spaces available to other composers.

Participants may also wish to attend ACO's Underwood New Music Readings Open Rehearsal on Thursday, May 23 at 10:30 am or the Recorded Readings Session on Friday, May 24 at 7:30 pm. Tickets and Reservations Required. More info is available at www.americancomposers.org. For tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/28th-annual-underwood-new-music-readings-ca...
