Screen Music Program

The 2nd edition of the Screen Music Program will be in Milan, Italy, from 20 to 30 July, 2020. The Program explores the fundamentals of Film & Video Game scoring in a 10-day session of masterclasses, lectures, colloquiums, and workshops focused on composition.

Faculty includes Harry Gregson-Williams (Metal Gear and Call of Duty series, Spy Game, Phone Booth, The Chronicles of Narnia, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Martian, the Shrek franchise), Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, Altered Carbon, The Umbrella Academy, Star Trek: Discovery, What Remains of Edith Finch), Inon Zur (Fallout, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia, The Elder Scrolls: Blades, Crysis, Baldur's Gate, Syberia, The Lord of the Rings), Alison Plante (Chair of Film Scoring @ Berklee College of Music), Clint Bajakian (God of War, Uncharted, Indiana Jones), Paolo Tortiglione (Chair of Film Music @ Conservatory of Milan), among others.

Set every summer in Milan, Italy, the Program is aimed at anyone who is serious about a career in applied composition, from graduate and undergraduate students specializing in film scoring and video game music to anyone wishing to improve their craft.

The Screen Music Program is an invaluable venue for emerging composers wanting to produce and promote their work, secure future commissions and job opportunities, and join other musicians to create a vibrant artistic community.
