Bass Saxophone w/o Fixed media | Festival Expresiones Contemporáneas 2020


Festival Expresiones Contemporáneas (FEC) and the Instituto Municipal de Cultura Puebla (IMACP) are pleased to announce a Call for Scores for bass saxophone and with or without fixed media.

The call is open to composers of any nationality. The selected works will be released in the Festival Expresiones Contemporáneas at Puebla city, Mexico.

The works will be recorded and provided to the composer. The premiere of each work will be documented in audiovisual format.

The selected composers will be provided the amount of $45 dollars.

A registration fee is not required.

DEADLINE: September 1, 2020.
RESULTS DATE: September 13, 2020.

The work must have a minimum duration of 6 and a maximum of 8 minutes.
The work must be written for bass saxophone and with or without fixed media.
The selection will be in charge of Jonathan Garrido.
The works will be published, disseminated and promoted on the page of the Collective: Composers, Sound Artists and Interdisciplinary FEC Puebla, as well as on the FEC YouTube channel and social networks.
There is no age restriction
The composer can apply only with one piece.

Digital score of the work in PDF format (not manuscript)
Fixed Media in WAV format, attached by Google Drive or One Drive (configure the access permission in view or edit).
Composer biography (maximum 1500 characters).
