Composer's Choir — Available for recording

My name is Daniel Shaw, and I am the founder and Artistic Director of the Composer's Choir. We are a professional recording choir in Connecticut whose mission is to provide and distribute choral recordings to and for composers of their favorite works. You own your recordings; there are no royalties or negotiations about their usage. Commonly our recordings are sent to conductors and to the radio, put online (Facebook/ Soundcloud posting are particularly effective,) and sent as part of composition competition applications.

After we record your music, and get your permission, we send the recordings to a list of about 140 conductors from around the globe who have proactively signed up to hear Composer's Choir music for consideration in their concert programming. Additionally, our recordings have been played on the radio throughout the U.S. and we are about to release our first compilation CD.

In our first 4 years, we have recorded over 60 works by over 40 composers and have broad experience with different styles of music, both accompanied and unaccompanied. You can hear samples of our work and read about us and some of our clients at our website, *http://www.composerschoir.net*.
For more current samples, please email me and I'll send you some of our most recent recordings.

It is important to note that we can tailor projects to fit different goals and budgets.

When talking about a project, you and I speak directly about your plans for the recording, budget, and the music itself. Then we assemble a group of professional singers and instruments as needed, arrange rehearsals and a recording session with about 12 mike's, fully produce the recording (taking notes from you along the way,) and send you wav files, a CD, or MP3's of your music. If possible, you are welcome to come join us for rehearsals and / or the recording session.

Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss any aspect of our services. My contact information is below.
