Sydney International Composers Concert 2017

'Sydney International Composers Concert 2017' is a Video Recording Program for contemporary orchestral music compositions.

It is for composers of all nationalities and all ages who wishing their orchestral works to be video recorded. Six distinguished works will be selected and to be video recorded in the concert on 6 October 2017".

You are invited to submit works for the Sydney International Composers Concert 2017. This is an unparalleled opportunity to hear amazing new contemporary orchestral music performed by the talented and highly skilled SCO musicians. All works in this concert will be professionally recorded. A unique opportunity to be part of making "musical history of our times".

It is financially collaborated by the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra and the world wide contemporary composers' contribution fees. Supported by the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra's Foundation, and the composers helped each other to make their dreams true.


Works for symphony orchestra (without soloist) (published or not, performed or not)
2 (doubling piccolo).2 (doubling cor anglais).2 (doubling bass clarinet).2 (doubling contrabassoon)., (doubling bass trombone).,timp., 2 perc., piano (optional), harp (optional), strings.
Duration: about 15 minutes
Number of submissions: No limit (each work to be submitted on a separate forma and entry fee)

Non-refundable submission fee $80 is applied
Payment of contribution fee must be completed by April 30, 2017
