Call for Scores 2017-18
Featured artist: Williams Lang, trombone

Any person of any age or nationality.

Compositions must be for solo trombone (alto, tenor, or bass; William can switch instruments mid-piece if desired), or solo trombone and electronics (live processing is acceptable, but fixed media is preferred; William can also work with analog equipment if provided, i.e. cassette, boombox, etc).

Compositions should include the use of microtones, but the type of alternate tuning can be from any system (quarter-tones, eighth-tones, 72 Equal-Temperament, Just Intonation, Bohlen-Pierce, etc.), and there are no restrictions regarding style or aesthetics. New compositions are preferred, however compositions that have already been performed are eligible.

Works may be any length, but preference may be given to works that are 15 minutes or less.
