The Walden School Creative Musicians Retreat

The Walden School seeks applications for the 2018 Creative Musicians Retreat, June 16 to 24, in Dublin, New Hampshire.

The Walden School Creative Musicians Retreat is a festival for composers, performers, improvisers, electronic musicians, choral musicians, and music teachers who want to spend a week immersed in music. The curriculum is designed for a range of participants: undergraduate and graduate students, as well as both professional and amateur musicians. The powerful synergy between composers, performers, and improvisers, as well as scholars, choral singers, and teachers is what makes a musical retreat at Walden so unique.

Mivos Quartet, pianist Steven Beck, and percussionist Matthew Gold return as artists-in-residence. They are available to premiere music by composer participants and teach/coach performer participants. The 2018 Composer-in-Residence is Christopher Theofanidis.
